Paris...Paris...Paris....

We are headed off to Paris today to celebrate my birthday!! I will be sure to post some pictures when we return home. I can't believe that I am turning 39 on Saturday!! It seems only yesterday was 19..29...time just flies when you are having fun. Have a great weekend!!

It is finally over....

I worked out today for the first time in so long. To say it was miserable would be an understatement!! My trainer was not happy with what I had been doing these past 7 weeks( which was nothing) and she let me know it. I now have to send her my food charts again and tell her exactly what I am doing in the gym on the days I am not with her. I guess that is what I get...I told her give me 4 weeks and I will be back in shape again and we can go from there...
Abe was there when I worked out today. I was sweating more in that 1 hour than I did in 7 hours of labor. My hair was soaked, my clothes were stinky...need I write more?? He was shocked that she had me work so hard and that she didn't let me off of anything. I guess that is what I need because when I am left to do it on my own...I don't!!

Tomorrow is the day....

I am starting to workout with my trainer tomorrow...ugh!! I haven't worked at either at all or not near to her level in about 7 weeks. My body will feel it tomorrow. Abe is still here, so he is going to watch...since he trains mostly women at his health club. I already told him it will get ugly and I will stink!! I am so dreading it, but I will feel better after....I think. I already told Jeff and Abe to plan on going out for a nice dinner...I am staying home and resting.

All is quiet at home....

Ian is fast asleep...Jeff is out to dinner...no tv...no radio...nothing...PEACE!! It is amazing that I am hardly ever alone...just me. I have had such a relaxing evening. Abe is here from Peoria visiting and after running around today, I knew the last thing that Ian needed to do was go out for a nice dinner...he would have been a brat. I stayed home and Jeff and Abe went out. I put Ian to bed about 10 minutes after they left...which wouldn't have happened if they were here. I have folded laundry, put it away, ordered birthday supplies for Ians party in the us, waxed my upper lip( yea..that's right) and now I have the computer with NO interruptions...a spa night...almost. If I didn't hate Tom Cruise so much I would have done a remake of his "Risky Business" slide across the floor in my socks and underwear...but he makes me sick so I will pass on that one.

We do actually go out....

I thought I should put at least one picture on here to prove that we do go out to dinner without Ian....sometimes. Jeff and I went out to dinner and left Ian with a sitter...he had a great time and would have liked for us to stay out longer. We do miss our parents babysitting every weekend for us back in the states...we look forward to that again.

I also posted this so that I can remember why I will like school uniforms next year. Ian has his own style. He loves these green socks and he likes to wear head band type things on this head. He does look so cute with his little "do wraps" on,but the green socks....they gotta go. I need to add that the socks are part of a soccer uniform...I didn't just buy him those socks!!!

SHE DID IT!!!!!!!

We just got home from Disney....fun....I will post pictures tomorrow!! We were all so excited for Amanda...she got 2nd place in state in the 800 meter run!!! She got beat by a senior...the one that won it last year. Amanda set a new Metamora school record and the Peoria area record for the 800!!!

We are off to Paris.....

We are heading off to Paris Disneyland tomorrow....Ian can't wait!! We have had this planned for a few months and it has just gotten here so quickly. We are taking the Eurostar....Ian thinks the train will be much better than a plane. I will take lots of pictures...be ready next week!!

My niece is running in 2 events at the state track meet this weekend. I will be able to listen live via the internet...I can't wait!! Good luck Duvy....Run...Run..Run!!!!!

Our ISE friend...Stacey is moving next week. I am very sad about this because we have lots of fun in our group of friends. She is only moving the Bloomington...so she isnt' getting away that easily.

That all my info for the past week....not much...yea I know. I will have to spice up my life more this next month....

Back in the UK....

We are back and getting our life back to normal...so to speak. Ian misses everyone so much, but knows we will be home soon. Jeff is glad to have us back!! We did have a small bike accident...this time it was Jeff not Ian. Jeff tried to ride a wheelie and the bike flew out from under him. Ian rode past him to finish the race and than returned to make sure his dad was alive. He is alive...but he learned that 40 year old men don't need to ride like little boys!!
