Home sweet home???? I don't think so...

Ian and I are back in the UK after a wonderful trip to the US. We got back on Tuesday late afternoon. We spent the day yesterday with jet lag, but after a 13 hour sleep we seem to be feeling much better. The weather here is beautiful...80 and sunny. This is a treat for England. I am posting some pictures of our last day at the pool. We had so much fun at my sisters pool. Ian loved it. I can't believe he learned to swim so quickly. It will make our upcoming cruise all the more fun.

I am am also posting pictures of Ian's last day of school. He had to go back one last day to get his projects he had made throughout the year. He loves that school...I can't believe he will be going all day next year. I don't know what I will do with all that time...I am sure it will get filled quickly. The end of the year party was a little different verses American end of the year activities. They offered wine and beer. The teachers received whiskey as one of the end of the year gifts from the students. I guess when I think back to my teaching days I could have used a bottle on my last day!

We were very sad to leave the states. I like it here, but it is not home. I miss everyone so much. My parents are looking at a condo right down the street from our house in Washington. They are thinking about buying now and slowly moving in a little at a time. We are planning on moving back to the states next summer sometime...but you never know...maybe sooner...maybe later.

Summer fun in the states......

Here are a few pictures from my trip home. I have enjoyed this trip so much. The pool with my family has been a blast!! I also got to spend the day with my friend Stacey...from England...it was just like old times...only better!!! I spent the day at her house...Ian had a ball. He loves her kids....Eden, Sawyer, Faith, and Beckett. Thanks for a great day...Stacey!!!

This has been such a good trip. I had alot of appointments and not enough time with family and friends. I did get to enjoy the pool at my sisters so much..Ian learned to swim underwater, the breast stroke, and freestyle. I will video some of this for you Jeff...you won't believe it...our baby swims underwater and the length of the pool!!!

I will post more pictures....I will be back in England on Tuesday morning. It is bittersweet, but I miss you Jeff...so I am ready to come home!!!

Jeff's gone.....

Jeff left this evening....we are very sad to see that happen!! It seems like time just goes by so quickly when we are here. Ian and I will be heading back in 2 weeks. We have been keeping ourselves very busy lately. Ian is just having so much fun here. I hate to take him back to reality in England!! We did get some family pictures taken and I updated my blog page for summer....

Home sweet home....

I have tried a few times tonight to upload some pictures of Ian's birthday party, but I didn't have any luck. I will give it a go tomorrow and see if I am successful. Ian's party went great. He loved every bit of his "bug" party. He got lots of cool gifts and gift cards. The weather has been great here. We are planning on going swimming again tomorrow. My dad and Jeff finished the deck and they put in a little fish pond for me. Jeff must have been crazy from the heat....all I did was say it once and the next day it was done!!! I like that...I need to see if that will happen again.

Jeff leaves on Saturday and we are already sad. Ian and I have an additional 2 weeks left, but that will just fly by so fast. I have been at the dentist, doctor, hairdresser, and loads of other appointments the next 2 weeks. I also have poison oak on my face....I always like to make myself miserable while in the states. We are suppose to get pictures on Thursday...don't know about that yet.

I will post pictures tomorrow.

Itchy Ian.....

Isn't life funny??? I guess that is a loaded question....anyway..we are heading back to the states today and we are so excited!! I haven't got everything ready this time because I was going to send Ian to school and have those 2 hours of freedom...didn't happen!! I will make this to the point...Ian has the chicken pox...yes..thats right...chicken pox. I am glad about this...just the timing is a little off for this one. We are going ahead and flying..he feels fine, just a little itchy. I will keep everyone posted on this one....I will be home alot this next week.....
I did have to laugh because I have been staring at Ian because I just can't believe that he has these spots on him. He finally told me that I needed to stop because it was not polite to stare at people.
